After the creative generation of ideas, several concept drawings (aka. sketches / graphic designs) have to be made. These sketches are a form of illustrations where the main goal is to convey a visual representation of a design or idea to compare different solutions. Multiple concepts are compared and analyzed for further development.

We make extensive use of Sketchup and CATIA.V5 to realize preliminary designs.


Dagani Engineering focuses mainly on development of ideas and scientific workout of concepts. When chosen to work on a certain project, it has to be refreshing, particularly when compared with long gestation projects with large budgets and generous design deadlines; these are replaced by gut instinct and intuition. It doesn’t mean that mindless choices and assumptions are made, but the financial consequences for clients are also our concern.

More than ever, engineers are now required to have knowledge of relevant sciences for their design projects, as a result, we constantly try to keep on learning new material throughout design processes. Therefor we not only consult other people in the sector, but also use the latest technologies concerning design and analysis, as well as the newest validation techniques.

A prototype is often used as part of the product design process to allow engineers and designers the ability to explore design alternatives, test theories and confirm performance prior to starting production of a new product.

Dagani Engineering has a vast experience in the production of prototypes from which the portofolio is a sample.

In our production facilities we have state of the art CNC machines, 3D printers, composite vacuum tooling and other specialized equipment. This equipment and expertise is required to deliver accurate prototypes within a tight schedule.

Software analysis

Dagani Engineering specialized in the use of CAE tools for the optimization of product performance. For different applications, the renowned software packages are used, eg. CATIA.V5, Ansys, Fritzing, Abaqus, Matlab, Simulink…

Validation of prototype

The validation of prototypes depends on subjective factors like appreciation of a design and color, and technical factors like stiffness, durability… We can validate our prototypes on the technical level by extensive testing in laboratory or real-live situations.
